Subject: Great show

I also love the Kids sandwich...yum yum. As Kids jams out into Head, I hear what sounds like Red Star from U-Melt. Starts around the 16:30 mark and is pretty distinct around 17:40, after that the rest if the band takes over the jam and it swells up after that nicely into Head.

I know Chuck has played w U-Melt a few times, but they didnt play Red Star together (as far as I can remember)...U-Melt however did play Red Star at moe.down 2006....

Anyway, I'd like to think that its Chuck playing the tease....then Al comes over the top with the Head riffs...but I cant tell :)

Thanks for the taping, sounds amazing.

I definitely thought the massive Kids sandwich was as good on tape as on paper. Everything leading up to it was executed beautifully (LOVE Al's piece in the first George jam) and i thought the ebb and flow of the show's tempo was really good. One of their better shows of the summer I'd say.

Subject: What an intro!

There was maybe a couple thousand people at this gig - got to hang right up front for my first show woo hoo! Thanks to the Dave who gave me one of Chuck's picks, and to the guy screaming "Yeah Moe/Chuck!" in my ear - save it for in between songs, dude! Anyway, fantastic show: the Kids>Head>Kyle>Head>CIA>Kids was sick! And it was cool to see Al waving at the guys smoking out in their hotel room behind the stage. Thanks!
